Rating: R for pica, character death, very minor bloodplay. (Pica: a medical disorder characterized by an appetite for substances largely non-nutritive (e.g. metal (coins, etc), clay, coal, soil, feces, chalk, paper, soap, mucus, ash, gum, etc. ...a specific appetite caused by mineral deficiency in many cases, in females named typically iron deficiency.)

As you all know, I am owned by Silmarillion muses, LOTR muses, and increasingly, Firefly muses. I'm not really one for OTPs or anything - well, I ship things, but there isn't any one that jumps out at me. But I love Simon and Kaylee, and they are just adorable together. Here are several drabbles about them.

I'm looking forward to that. :D

It's been a rather unproductive day, but I figure hell with it, it's my birthday tomorrow and I got up before noon, what more do they want? I tried to enrol for subjects next year, but the uni website is being stupid and they don't have to be finalised until the 19th. Clearly the universe wants me to take a break.

And I would, except the muses are running wild. Looking at some very, very awesome stuff on Deviantart has even convinced me to start drawing again. I usually get impatient when I can't draw like da Vinci after five minutes of practice, but that's the key - practice. Hands are the worst.

I saw Death at a Funeral yesterday, and it was one of the best movies I've seen lately... then again, I can't remember the last movie I saw at the cinemas - but still, it was entertaining. Very, very British. The cast was excellent, no major celebrities but maybe that's better, as you see the character and not the actor. The one exception to this was Alan Tudyk, aka Wash. I know him, and imdb.com tells me he's American, but he can do a superb British accent, and he's the star of the show. Especially when he gets naked. Damn, Mal isn't the only stud on Serenity. :D

Who wants drabbles? I feel 'all revved up with no place to go' in terms of writing, right now - I want to do it, but I'm a bit vague as to what I'd actually write... anyway, comment with a drabble request for me, if you please. That way, I get to exercise my writing muscles, and you get drabbles. Everybody wins!
