I think I've spent the last two weeks in the doldrums. Nothing that I can remember of importance has happened. But I thought I'd update for the hell of it.

Monday: Frantic last-minute homework.

Tuesday: Nothing really important. Oh, and I went back to school.

Wednesday: Nothing really important.

Thursday: Nothing really important. (Noticing a pattern? I really can't remember what I did last week)

Friday: Possibly something important. Or it could just be my imagination.

Saturday: Oh, god. I seriously cannot remember anything about this week.

Sunday: Clarinet practice! I was very proud of myself.

Monday: NRI.

Tuesday: NRI.

Wednesday: NRI.

Thursday: Extra long band practice. Bleeeaaaaaaaaauuuuurrrggghhhhh.

Friday: More long band practice when I could have been working and making money. Bastards.

Saturday: Friend's birthday party. Much sugar. Much watching of Monty Python, which was good. Go home and watch Superman with my brother cos I can't be stuffed doing anything else. Make degrading comments about Superman. Get yelled at by brother. Decide not to talk to brother for the rest of the day/night.

Sunday: Forcibly moved to school in uniform to play at Concerto Concert. Just got back. Find lots of emails for me. Happy!

We've been dragged kicking and screaming to mass singing practice for Speech Night for the last few days. I would like to know the answers to these questions: one, what am I doing singing when I'm playing the music to the songs at Speech Night anyway; and two, since when can people become Music Directors and lead Mass Singing when they can't actually sing?

Intruiging...

Well, I am actually rather tired right now. I think I will go sleepies. Adios.

Would you believe I am (was) in the exact same situation as you? Regarding Speech Night massed singing and weird music directors (does "silent smiley surprised breath" sound familiar to you?) Mine was Monday night - and I accidentally picked up a year seven's academic award - smart that.

I finally got my journal!! Go me!!
