This must be the one week of the year that I feel like shopping, for I've bought... let's see... seven items (and had two more bought for me, a subtle but important difference cost-wise) if shoes count as one each. I have two green tops, and a black t-shirt with silver stars, and a pair of spotted ballet flats and a pair of bright orange almost-converse shoes.
And now I'm looking at Threadless T-shirts.
Help.
For you see, I am on holiday and my shopping during semester usually goes like this:
El: This top looks all right-
El's Inner Budget Manager: No, must hoard money! PRECIOUS PRECIOUS MONEY!
El: ...okay then.
While during holidays, it is more like this:
El: Ooh, pretty things! Shiny here, and here, and here - want. Want it all.
EIBM: I don't think we really need all of that, and besides it goes outside our budget-
El: PRECIOUS PRECIOUS SHINIES ME WANT NOW.
EIBM: ...and this is why we can't buy anything for the rest of the year.

In other news, I apparently joined in the strike-thingy for whatever yesterday without noticing, and the pet store has casual jobs available, which means pay. And kittens. But mostly kittens.
And now I'm looking at Threadless T-shirts.
