Well, I created my livejournal on a friday night with not much forethought (as I normally do things) and Enelya (my fanfiction.net name) was taken. I was in a Pirates of the Caribbean and LOTR obsessive stage at that point in time, so I picked elvenpiratelady as a name.

Later, I realised that it was a real pain to type out all the time, and I kept spelling it "elvenpiratealdy", so I shortened it to El. I like El, it's easy to type and has a range of meanings. In Spanish it's the male definitive article, in French it's the feminine singular pronoun (albeit misspelled), and in both Sindarin and Quenya it means 'star'. So El works for me.

I realised just then that having such a long name means I have to find fifteen other people to do this, and I'm too lazy to write the names. So if you want, you can do it.

Now I will do homework. Really. I swear. It's not going to be like the last time I posted today and spent three hours surfing the net.
