Why do I bother?

Exhibit A: fic going by the name of Aragorn's Test with the following summary:

In which Boromir was only wounded at Amon Hen and has accompanied Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli to Rohan, Elrond's told Aragorn that Arwen has sailed over the sea "to see if he is trying to become king not only for Arwen, but for Middle-Earth" (direct quote). And there's a random halfelven OC from some other world running around in the ANs.

Conclusion: Sometimes it's best just to click away. Especially when writing constructive crit requires actual reading of the damn thing.

I just realised...

...that it's October now. Which means it's time for the Eye of Sauron on my Lord of the Rings calendar.
