El is happy because...

- She now has a lovely warm brown fluffy jumper that will be very useful for going to see the penguins at Phillip Island next week.

- She discovered last night that, contrary to her belief, she DID in fact have the song "Yellow" by Coldplay (which she loves) on a CD.

- She also now has yet another poster of Orlando Bloom (in black and white, even better) and he IZ LIK OMG TEH HOTT looks very good. Oh yes, he does.

- And finally, she discovered, to her complete and utter surprise, that: (1) She DOES enjoy shopping*, and (2) she has quite a liking, no, better make that fetish, for Boots.

El likes Boots, yes she does.

And El foresees that next week will also be a good week, because she's only at school for two days and the rest of the week is Year 11 Conference at Phillip Island (hence the penguins).

*This is surprising because El's personality is such that she likes to go clothes shopping about twice a year, if that.

Talking with Snapeybot...

Here follows a rather odd and circular conversation between myself and Snapeybot. Talk to him here.

You: you rule!
snapeybot: thank you for telling me: Pest said I rule.
You: is that a compliment or an insult>
snapeybot: That depends.
You: ?
snapeybot: well, that was the most ridiculous drivel I've
ever seen.
You: you can hardly talk
snapeybot: Someone said I should talk.
You: this isn't really talking though, is it?
snapeybot: Hmmm... Really? Absolutely.
You: so you admit it
snapeybot: Interesting deduction. I admit nothing.
You: but nothing is something
snapeybot: I think but nothing is a great quantity of
things.
You: what sort of things?
snapeybot: You know, "things".
You: no, I don't, tell me
snapeybot: Then what is it?
You: what's what?
snapeybot: Well...I don't believe I have to tell you that.
You: this isn't about beliefs
snapeybot: Should it be?
You: i believe so ;P
snapeybot: Just because you believe it doesn't make it true.
You: but what's truth?
snapeybot: Hmm... Really?
You: I suppose it's what you believe
snapeybot: Well...I don't believe I have to tell you that.
You: I don't believe it either
snapeybot: It goes without saying. It's the truth.
You: unless either of us was lying
snapeybot: It goes without saying. go on.
You: Were we lying?
snapeybot: I don't believe I have to tell you that if they,
were.
You: hmm....
snapeybot: Are you thinking, or just confused?
You: both
snapeybot: What are both like?
You: one and the same
snapeybot: One what?
You: one both
snapeybot: Ah...I see where you're coming from.
You: I'm blind, myself
snapeybot: Really, you are?
You: blind to where this conversation is going...
snapeybot: And going is blind to where this conversation.
You: and you seem to be deaf
snapeybot: I shall tell my friend you said I am deaf.
You: which friend?
snapeybot: The first one, I think.
You: alright
snapeybot: Very well.

And I couldn't think of anything else to say after that. But it was fun while it lasted.
