The problem is that you really have to read between the lines to see how awesome these women are; Andreth isn't mentioned at all except in HoME, Morwen, Aerin, Nienor and Nellas get much more expanded roles in The Children of Hurin, and Idril gets much more information in 'Of Tuor And His Coming To Gondolin', which is in Unfinished Tales. *sad*
