And their daughter is Maeglin - Camilla Belle

Bradley James as Idril makes me a really happy camper. I'm not even sure why. It just -- really, really amuses me for some reason. I think it's because I'm now imagining Idril acting a bit like Arthur and Tuor a bit like Uther (but apparently a female Uther) from Merlin. xD; But who would be Tuor and little Earendil?

And does Aredhel still wear white dresses? >__> Or at least dress all in white?
And would Maeglin still creep Idril out a bit? THis is all fascinating to ponder. :3


And the brooding!face comparison makes me happy. xD I take it you go with the idea of Gil-galad as Fingon's son, then. :3

Omg, the Prat of Gondolin. He'd be amazing, and it would give Tuor an excuse to keep going WELL EXCUUUUUUSE ME PRINCE(SS) so that is another fandom in the mix. I didn't cast Tuor and Earendil because then I would get into the mortals of the Silm and that would have taken me months, I swear.

That is why I like genderflipping things, because do the dynamics stay the same or do they change with the genders?

I am always for Gil-galad as Fingon's son, no matter how it fucks up Mae/Fin. Gil-galad as Orodreth's son makes no sense to me.

I love Idril's expression. And Turgon's cheekbones, and how aloof she looks, which is perfect for Turgon. Also, Aredhel's expression is perfect, gorgeous, a little wicked, and Eol and Maeglin are great too.

Fingon makes a very pretty lady.

It is quite possible, in this version of the Silm, that Eol tripped and fell onto Turgon's face and cut herself up so badly that she died from her injuries. XD Aredhel looks like he's about to pull a con on someone, probably his sisters, and they might get angry but he's their baby brother and they can never stay mad at him.
