... I think it might just be possible to get sunburnt in winter, because I'm feeling sick and hot and like my brain is kinda thick and fluffy. It was the most beautiful day today, I didn't even mind waiting for the train for about twenty minutes more than I expected to. It was lovely.

So we went into the city on friday, and we went to a Thai restaurant. I'm not normally a fan of Thai food, seeing as everything I've eaten has coconut milk in it and it's not my favourite food. But I had vermicelli and astounded myself by firstly, enjoying it, and secondly, managing to eat noodles with chopsticks and not getting them all over myself in the process. I think I'll leave rice alone for now, however.

Then we went to a show by a group called The Seven Fingers or Les Sept Droites de La Main en francais, which are I think a branch of Cirque du Soleil. They were... hmm, very bendy and amazing. Three bits I liked especially - a bit involving dancing lights, a very very hot man with a Spanish accent in tight white clothes reading poetry, and a woman with a trapeze act. I loved the music for the last one of those, I'll have to try and find it.

And on Saturday I did essentially nothing at all except wander around the op shops of Greater Melbourne, looking for seventies disco clothes for Shazza's party. So now I have white platform shoes, a black vest, gold chains, shiny pants that are about this colour, and a shiny shirt that is about this colour. I think I'm going to glow in the dark. :P

And then I watched the wonderful Doctor in a strange London with zepplins, which later involved in him a tuxedo. *ZOMGTENNANTINATUXSQUEE* And the cybermen were scary, and I'm never going to be able to listen to the In the Jungle song again in the same way. And there was a man that sounded like Baldric. Heh.

EXCEPT, after the episode dropped the terrible cliffhanger of doom, I went on the net to find out more about Cybermen, and came across Ten's history, and accidentally read part of the plot for Doomsday. *wails* I'VE BEEN SPOILERFIED! I've avoided ALL post-doomsday fics and most Doctor Who sites so I didn't know about it, and now I know part of it. Curse you, morbid curiousity.

So, lesson learnt: do not under any circumstances read about a show you love and want to avoid the spoilers for said show, because the spoilers are just waiting to get into your brain. I guess if I bang my head against a brick wall long enough I might forget it...

Now Cybermen scare me too. I was never scared of old-school daleks until 'Dalek', now I'm scared of Cybermen. *sigh* So to make them less scary, I ended up imagining them as gospel singers.

And THAT of course led to a bizarre mental image of Daleks becoming door-to-door preacher people. And then to door-to-door salesmen. o_0

And then I thought of Dalek poetry, and if it would be as bad as Vogon poetry, and I concluded that it would essentially be daleks repeating 'EXTERMINATE' ad nauseum. So I decided that they would be good beatniks.

Then I went to Eastland on Sunday and took possibly illegal photos of the outside, so I feel like one of the papparazzi. It's not my fault, the geography fieldwork made me do it!

And now bro wants the computer back. Goodbye, all. *smiles winningly*

*sees flist back away*

Well, goodbye then. :P
