Holiday going-ons

Twelve Things El Did This Week:

1. Slept in for a considerable amount of time.

2. Bought a jacket, two tops, and a pair of shoes.

3. Discovered the day after that the shoes are slightly too small (hopefully this will wear out soon).

4. Developed a small blister on her toe due to the shoes.

5. Was dragged intoJoined a protest in the city against the IR laws. We marched with the Greens. Yay, Greens! (Here ends El's political interest for the year.)

6. Ate lunch at a Hari Krishna all-you-can-eat restaurant.

7. Looked for and failed to find a pair of boots. (And there was much gnashing of teeth.)

8. Managed to cut the Extended Essay down to 4320 words, where it had previously been 5387. (Yes, I like to keep track of these things.)

9. Recieved a party invite.

10. Had a video day with her best and oldest friend. Ice Age, Pirates of the Caribbean and an hour of Return of the King is good.

11. Drove all of two kilometres at 40 km/hr, and managed to frighten her mother by (apparently) driving too close to the kerb.

12. Participated in a livejournal friending spree.
