Trawling through the net at lunch today, a friend showed me the Kagaya website:

http://www.kagayastudio.com/

Go check it out. Don't let the Japanese characters intimidate you, they've all got English subtitles underneath.

I can only say:

Oh... my... god.

HOW CAN THEY BE SO DAMN TALENTED? Especially if you consider that this is all done on computer...

*bows down to artists at Kagaya*

New phrase to get me through when life gets tough: Nolite te bastardes carborundorum. Means "Don't let the bastards grind you down" in Latin. I like Latin.*

Watched Harvey Krumpet on SBS last night. It's so sweet and quirky, I love it. Especially the bit when they put a bus stop in the retirement home garden for the old folks to sit in. Awww.

*Alright, I confess, I got that phrase out of a book. The Handmaid's Tale, by Margaret Atwood. Bleak, but good. It's got some great descriptions.

(Incidently, if any of you are here for The Black Parody, it's all up and running at Fuffnet:

Enjoy.)
